Dayo app: paying you for reduced screentime

New to market is the Dayo app, which monitors your social media accounts and then rewards you with brand discounts for the time you don’t spend scrolling.

Dayo tracks your daily screen use and rewards you for staying under 30 minutes per day. When you meet this goal, you earn up to $5 dayo dollars per day in your Dayo wallet, which can be used for discounts of up to 80% on products from over 100 brand partners.

Their revenue model involves earning a small commission from money you spend on partner brands through their platform. It reminds us a lot of Andrew Yang’s phone plan Noble Mobile, which rewards you monetarily for less time spent using your smartphone.
